Currently my hair is past my shoulders. It's been breaking off lately and seems to be thining. I have been using (motions oil relaxer for about six years) prior to that I was wearing a jheri curl. I went to the hair dresser for several weeks prior to getting a relaxer to strengthen my hair and get in condition. I know that I need to get my hair in shape before converting. But will I have to get my hair cut? Does anyone know any websites or current magazines that are advertising about wave noveau? Any and all information would be appreciated.

There is a picture in the sept/oct 2003 issue of Black Hair. I wasnt quite sure myself what the new wave nouveau looked like. i had one several years back. and am seriously considering going back to it. the new version looks better as it allows you wear it curly or straight. let me know if you find it, ir not i can scan the pics in and send it to you

I ALSO JUST RECEIVED THE WAVE NOUVEAU COIFFURE RECENTLY AND I AM TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHAT PRODUCTS WORK BETTER. I NEVER LOOK LIKE LUDACRIS BUT, MAYBE CARROT TOP. DID YOU TRY THE MIST THAN USE THE MOISTURIZING LOTION (NOT THE HUMECTANT LOTION). THAT SEEMS TO WORK. MAYBE YOU SHOULD APPLY IT RIGHT BEFORE AND AFTER WORKING OUT.
