Subject: The Killing of SHEIKH ABUKAR,

I was suddened to learn of the death of one of the great Son as well as one of the prominent leader of RRA and of the noble nation of D&M.

I wish to convey to the family, the Chairman and the executive of committee of RRA and other member of my Brothers SHANTA CALEMOOD my deep sympathy on the behalf of the community of D&M in Australia, New Zealand and Ocenea upon the loss of this remarkable man of Nation.

It was my previlage to know him through most years of straggle he served as a one the prominent vice chairman of RRA. He was a combination of unlimited energy and highest devotion. All of us in the fraternity have suffered a great loss.

Let us pause to note that death has struck again. Death has removed from our midst Sheikh Abukar, a gifted and erudite leader. In his passing, RRA as well as D&M has lost one its commanders of this era. He was a career of incredible vigor and forcefulness. He was a relentless crusader for what he believed right. His claim to fame is secure. Sometimes they differed with him politically, but We recognized that he was a genius in his field of patriotism. He left an indelible imprint on RRA and the life D&M nation. I feel a keen sense of loss in his passing.

Today he is awy, however, no one has served the nation with devotion or with such fearless courage as the Reverend leader. He was a champion of all causes he believed to be right. As an RRA man and the citizen of D&M he rendered faithful service.

He will be long remembered for his many contributions to the life of our nation. Not the least of these is the part he played in the delopment of the movement for slum clearance and his couragous support racial justice. We pray the Almighty God may grant him eternal rest - AMIN.

Eng. Hassan M. Abukar

(The Legal representative of RRA in Australia, NZ & Oceania).
