Some new rules were brought up at the last meeting

Of course I was drunk and lost the sheet but here is what I remember
-Goalie points 2 for win 3 for shutout Max of 5 for a goalie per shutout win
-The season will have a balanced schedule.
-Top 8 teams overall will make the playoffs each playoff round will be the highest seed vs the lowest seed in each round.
-The regular season doesn't have home ice advantage anymore.
-The home ice advantage of 2 points will come back for the playoffs only. So in a 3 game series the higher seed will have home ice for 2 games and the low seed will have home ice for one game.


That is all I can remember for now.

Please advise if I ahve missed something just post in this string and make the addition that I missed
