How to post a picture in a message

It is very easy to do on our forum:

1. Have your image hosted somewhere on the Web,as you can NOT directly link from your computer to our forum. Many of you with High-speed providers (Cable and DSL) may already have a place to put your pictures. However,if you don't and need a free place to host them, try:

http://www.photobucket.com

2. Upload your image (please no larger than 900x600) to your host site. Then, Copy the URL Link (which ends with .jpg in many cases) so you can Paste it into your message here. Photobucket makes it easy to find the URL, as it is listed just below the thumbnail of the image you just uploaded;see the sample (below) of one of my Photobucket thumbnail images.

3. Paste the URL of your image into your message and then use the Preview button to see if it is working.

4. Please remember that we have dial-up members and try not to post too many images (limit to a couple please) in your message.

5.If you have a question about posting an image, please drop the Moderator an email.
