On the occasion of the Republic Day, President Serzh Sargsyan today bestowed state awards and titles upon statesmen and representatives of the spheres of science, culture, art, architecture, healthcare and journalism.

In his congratulatory address, President Sargsyan stated, in part: I congratulate you on the occasion of the Republic Day. It has become a good tradition to bestow high state awards to those who contribute to the development of our country with their work and achievements.

Im confident that its due to the work and devotion of such reputable persons that societies mature and rise to a new level of development. Thanks to such individuals societies shape standards. Maintaining the high level of standards is the best means for progress. I warmly congratulate the awardees and wish new achievements in their mission.
