Armenia, UAE Interested In Deepening The Existing Relations

The Foreign Minister of Armenia, Edward Nalbandian, had a meeting with the Foreign Minister of the United Arab Emirates, Abdallah Bin Zayid Al Nahyan.
Minister Nalbandian noted with appreciation that the cooperation between Armenia and UAE is dynamically developing, which is evidenced by the high-level visits and the growing interest of the Emirates in Armenia. According to Edward Nalbandian, the UAE is Armenias important economic partner in the Middle East and Armenia is interested in reinforcing and deepening the existing relations.
UAE Foreign Minister Abdallah Bin Zayid Al Nahyan thanked for the warm reception and noted that his country intends to take concrete steps for the further expansion of cooperation with friendly Armenia. During the meeting the interlocutors discussed a broad framework of issues related to the development of bilateral relations and cooperation within international organizations.
The Foreign Ministers of the two countries exchanged views on issues of ensuring security in the South Caucasus and the Middle East.
Following the meeting the Foreign Ministers signed an agreement on Provision of lands for founding diplomatic representations in the Republic of Armenia and the United Arab Emirates and the memorandum of understanding on Lifting the requirement for persons having diplomatic passports to receive a visa will be signed.
