Here are some pix of the light box. It was made using an 18x18 inch cardboard box from Wal-Mart. I used a pillow case for the material to diffuse the lighting. I covered the inside of the box with white paper, using a glue stick . I also cut a front flap of the pillow case material with a hole for the lens to focus through. The blue pad is one of several from a package of foam pads (12x17 inches) , also from the craft department at Wal-Mart. Total cost for the light box: $13.00 USD. Included in the cost is a couple of the "Reveal" brand natural light incandescent bulbs, again from "Wally-World." I used 2 inch wide package tape to attach the fabric to the box.
First pic is of the inside of the light box:
Next a pic of the inside with a foam pad in place for background:
Then, a pic of the front with the front flap down showing the hole for the lens to "peep" through:
Now, two shots of the side openings with the pillow case material as a light diffuser:
Now, the other side: (more below pic)
Any questions, fire away. Thanks for asking. It sure beats the cost of a professional light box...(average $300-$400 USD).
Cheers,
Ed
