Update on Timex selfwind...

A few weeks ago, I asked some questions about parts for a broken stem release screw.
Dorsey responded and even sent me a selection of spares

This is the watch before I got Dorsey's parts...


And this is it after the new parts were installed...


As you can see, the crown is now properly seated and it works perfectly.

During the repair, the crown separated from the stem. Judging by it's gold colour and the loose fit it had, I'm guessing this is just a generic replacement. A dab of Loctite Blue(so it can come off again) and it is held nicely in place for winding and time setting.
