Thats why I got a NOS 1978 Marathon in the original box with the tags on it for 8 bucks and change ..if the instructions had been there I am sure the asking price would have been more and the bidding a little hotter! (Lucky me!) I was going to take the movement out when I noticed the flat side of the buttons..and if there is one thing I like to do is twist buttons! I wish I had a picture of the look on my face when the numbers appeared!
