I have been collecting watches for several years now. When I was working full time I was buying Omegas, Hamiltons, Benrus etc........ but since I have semi-retired with less $$ + with the economic downturn things have changed. It started a few monthe back when I bought 3 vintage Timex from a fellow worker for $20 "total". After a good cleaning & polishing I realized what great watches they really were - stylish, simple yet very accurate - better than many of my "other" brands I have owned. So far I have a very nice collection of 7 Timex for under $100

just to prove you can have fun with this hobby, learn lots - meet some great people (which I have on the forum) and not break the bank.
Thanks to everyone!
Cheers Paul / Canada
ps: my first watch (from my parents) was a boys manual wind Timex (1950's) - wish I still had it - Maybe one of you do
