The internals looks pretty standard/basic. The one I took apart because it stopped when dropped was easy to diagnose in that a section of teeth had shattered from one of the wheels. If one of these ever stops running and I know it's not from jarring/dropping, I'd have nothing to lose by giving servicing a try. But, for the time being, there's an old saying that seems to apply. "IF IT AIN'T BROKE...DON'T MESS WITH IT". Oh yes, for those on the Forum for whom English isn't their primary language, that quotation was NOT PROPER ENGLISH.
