This is all I use even for swiss watches.
The reason I use the LF while the mvt is intact is it quickly determines if it needs more attention to other more serious problems pointing me in other directions to diagnose.
I always relube after a good cleaning because I'm not all that confident the LF leaves enough residual lube.
It will do no good to not lube the dial side after a cleaning like this since the running works are there and I always lube the winding works as well.

Running for hours is a good sign. If it's intermittent it tells me it needs more cleaning on the dial side possibly the friction pinion is sticking and lube for sure.
