I will say, the Black Max is "very scarce". I looked and lurked on the web for almost 2 years before I found it.

They do come up, though rarely, on eBay. The ones I've seen since I got mine, the sellers did not know the proper name of the model. So, you really have to visually scan the listings looking for the watch. The antique shop where I bought mine just had it listed as a TIMEX sport watch! But, my "Eagle Eyes" spotted it as a Black Max immediately.
