Nice swap Ron. gives the dial a very different look. Maybe I'll swap the one I have since the case back has pitting.
This post raises many good questions about what makes a watch appealing. I was just looking at the Timex Service manual and I was surprised at how many years the Mercury models spanned with out any change. They must have sold very well of Timex to continue thier production. I know that when I list a mid 60's Mercury for sale, they sell great.
