Telephone dial surprise.

I had wanted a telephone dial for a while, specifically the black dial one.
I had seen pictures like this on the internet and liked it very much.



I was very excited when I fished one out of the bay. I looked at it when I received it and wound it to see if it would run, and thinking nothing more of it, left it to run over night.

After seeing it keeping excellent time, I decided to clean it.
And after removing the scratched up crystal guess what I discovered.

The dial was not black, but rather a deep deep blue.
When it catches the light just right, it is enough to take your breath away. Absolutely gorgeous. I think this is my new favorite dial color!
The picture above does not do it any justice, but it was the best picture I could manage.

So, my question to the pros is: Are all the telephone dials that I thought were black actually deep blue, or are there two different colors?
