I have one that is running from my friend's grandmother's estate complete with the original case. If your wife still wants one, you can have it for 10 bucks. I put a battery in it, N size, but the battery feels a bit rattly in the case - I might have used the wrong battery though - I used an E-90 N size, took a guess. The clock is keeping good time but I have no idea how to test the alarm!
Do you have any idea how and I can test it for you?
