Response to Still something wrong

A short circuit, that is causing the battery to discharge quickly. I have an early mechanical Q model that needs oiling. It is dragging and discharging the battery but takes a month to discharge.

Do you have a movement pic, with the battery in place? Are you using the right sized battery. Too big and it may rest against the caseback.

It could also be a duff batch of batteries, did you get them all from the same pack?

Quartz problems are difficult to trace and many times, it is easier to just source a replacement movement.
