Hi all

Can I call upon your collective wisdom?

I am about to make an amateur attempt to service a type 40 movement. In the service guide I note that

"Timex has found, after careful investigation, that the best way to clean the
movement is to disassemble the movement only to the point of removing the
balance bridge and the balance."

Am I to understand that the rest of the movement can, without disassembly, be placed in the ultrasonic tank and cleaned?

How then to dry and lube?

Advice much appeciated.
