i had a couple of similar timexes as a lifeguard and they were extremely reliable and readable. even though rated at only 30 or 50 meters they survived much more than just splashes. and timex kept up in the good design department. still do, actually. some of the new timexes i've seen on the forum are superb. i think you showed a black dial model not too long ago i really liked. your ram shock is quite busy on the face, but keeps its mind on the necessary business at hand, has a nice case with the form following the functions (the buttons at an angle with blue spots is a nice touch), not bling like so many others, and in a wearable range of sizes, too. and i don't care what anybody says; i think indiglo is a great complication. i still use one of mine for my alarm clock, and i don't have to turn on the light in the middle of the night. tim
