I find it funny how once identical watches can age so differently.
I've fixed up both these Memocall Alarms recently. Strangely, they both had exactly the same fault. The arm that fits into the indent of the stem had broken, meaning the stem wouldn't stay in. Donor movements to the rescue then a clean and oil in both cases.
The one on the left has definitely had a harder life. The dial has a kind of mottling pattern. It looks a lot more prominent in this photo.

I really need to stop buying multiples of the same watch. I heard a quote once where someone said there is a fine line between collecting and hoarding!
