| DANGEROUS! That is why I mentioned using the paper towels to protect one's hand should the scissors slip. This is a zero cost "technique" left over from my early days of amateur watchmaking before I learned about such things as case and pin wrenches.
I also recommend that anybody working with watches and clocks ALWAYS wear some sort of eye protection. One never knows when a spring will go flying straight toward his eyes!
