      No, it doesn't run at all even if shaken.

      "New parts are not available". In that case I would appear to be sunk.
      I guess I thought that there would be a "Timex Repair Center".

      My 25 year old Heuer is in for repairs currently and there should be no problems with that.

      My 20 year old Chelsea clock is in for (expensive) repairs and upgrade and to them that is a new clock as they routinely restore hundred year old clocks.

      I have no clue how to work on watches.
