Yes, I do find many of the straps that came on some Timex Models to be small for me too. I have extended the "link type" such as the one at the botton of the pic. But only at the area that does not expand.
it does make me wonder at how people dealt with these when they were new. Guess it helped the watch makers sell many replacement strap.
