      I go by the size of the hairspring coil. Meaning small coil faster rotation, large coil slower rotation.

      This however may not get the results you want if the reason for the time accuracy begin off is due to poor lubrication or worn parts.

      Now I also have to say that electrics drive me buggy! My percentage of success with them is maybe 30 40%. Whereas wind ups I'm above 60% successful.
