      Lesson learned is that cleaning a dial is very risky. Attempts to apply any cleaning liquid (including water) will result in removal of more then just the dirt.

      on the other hand a bubbled and dirty dial is not very appealing. So its the owners call as what to do. I would have tried to clean it up too.

      Now if you need a replacement dial I have some to choose from. Let me know via email.

      Battery is a 357 or AG13. Use a name brand and not generic.
