      I owned one of these in the early sixties. I was skiing in Switzerland, while on tour with a rock group I played in and lost it when I took it off and thought I'd zipped it in my jacket pocket for safety.

      A few years back I tried to replace it and was staggered to find them extremely scarce and around £2,500 (I was living in UK then). The IWC was the best watch I've ever had and kept brilliant time.

      Thanks for the tip re repairers. Looking at your IWC I'll contact Greg re the Toptime.
