from 1978 my vintage Timex "Black Max". This is another "grail" that is hard to find. #25 mechanical wind movement. Keeps EXCELLENT time. This is a new replacement strap, which is a rubber "Rolex-style" bracelet exactly like the original, but with a deployment buckle. The original strap was thinner and worn out. The case is all metal:

Beautiful example, Ed. When you do find one of these they usually have some paint loss.

I am wearing the new railroad still while we bond and I see how the time keeping is over an extended period of time so i won't post it again.

Merry Christmas to you and yours and also to all fellow forum members and their families.

Especially liked that awesome green dial Seiko. I was just planning on posting another "color request"; for green watches this time, but I needed to dig out something green to show myself first. happy.gif

Anyway, I guess I find that my newest watch is usually my favorite, so I am still wearing the recently purchased Planet Ocean:

I was, however, thinking of wearing the Dorado for Christmas dinner on Friday.

Buon Natale,
