- - and found you couldn't, it looks like N54 was again getting hammered by an attack (DOS attack) which the techie guys at N54 think is being done by a disgruntled former user. They now have in place a service called "CloudFlare" which auto defends their server in this instance. sad.gif

Obviously, whilst I apologise for the downtime, on this occasion there was nothing I could do about the forum to bring it back online. happy.gif

..it's been fine for me.
Thank you and network 54 for providing such a great forum. I'm relatively now to Timex watches but I do apreciate this forum as a reference.
I'm wearing a 1967, birth year, 21 jewel Timex automatic today. I know it was a cheap watch but it's got bags of character.
Thanks for looking after us Mel.
73,
Ian (also a keen SWL since 1975)

- - but can I just point out there's only three letters of a difference between Timex and Rolex happy.gif

So price isn't a factor, if I was a Rolex basher, I could also point out that I've never seen a live advert featuring one of their watches (or any other SWISS maker, or hi end maker even) strapped to the propellor of an outboard motor and still working after a trip round the bay wink.gif

SWMBO (She Who Must Be Obeyed) is recovering, dragged me out for an hour of retail therapy yesterday, situation getting back to normal - for sure!
