Hello,

New to the Timex Watch Forum.
I bought a pre-owned Timex Expedition watch recently and I would like to know the model number and year of release if possible. I Google searched "Timex Expedition 905" and a lot of watches showed up in the results, except mine.
The case back reads: Stainless Steel Case Back , Battery CR 2016, www.timex.com, WR100M, 905 NO
The dial has: Timex Expedition, and @ 6:00 it states Indiglo WR 100M
The watch size is 42mm.
Thanks!
-Andrew

The "NO" on your case back indicates your watch was produced in December 2005. Don't know the model number.

However, if you live in the USA and are near one of the Timex Retail Stores (known as the Time Factory Store or Timex Outlet Store) check with the manager and ask him/her to look in the 2005 catalog and give you the model number.

Or, you could contact Timex Corporation (timex.com) and ask them to do the same.

Thanks for posting and come back often.

Andrew, clarify the date code; is it N0 (letter N and number 0) or (more)

is it NO (letter N and Letter O). I gave you December 2005 which is based on your listing of letter N + letter O. Jersey Mo gave you October 2005, based on letter N + number 0.

Look closely at your case back again and see if it's a (number)"0" or (letter) "O".

BTW, Andrew, the 905 on the case back is the quartz movement number. (nt)

Here is a picture of the case back and the front.
Looks like a letter O ??

Thanks! Andrew

If you compare it with the "0" in the 905 movement number, it looks like>>>>

the number "0". The letter "O" would look a litter "fatter" on the sides of the character.

So, from your pix, it very well may be the number "0". That would make it October 2005. Either way, there is only a 2 month difference in the age.

Thanks for posting.
