I took in a pitbull when she was 3 and I have had her for 3 years. I am the one that feeds her and she sleeps with me in my bed. She has been a wonderful great dog until today. I was picking up tray that had steaks in them that drop on the floor. She was going for it the same time. As I picked it up she bit my hand and she bit it hard breaking the skin. I was socked that she did that because I have made it clear that I was incharge over her. I feel like if she would bit me she would bit anyone and I am also concerned that she may get more aggressive with me.
I did punch her immidiatly and several time today I turned her on her back and made her look away but I am still very concerned.
can someone give me some advice should I give her away to someone else will she bite again
