We just adopted a puppy that is a labrador retriever/big-head pit bull mix. She's a sweety. We have 2 other dogs and she loves to play with our Golden, especially. She plays as I suspect a pit bull would - biting him and hanging on. It doesn't seem to hurt our Golden as he doesn't yelp or try to get away and there's lots of "teeth-baring" between the two of them. It can escalate to snarling on the pup's part, too, but still seems to be play. At the end of it she'll curl up next to him and go to sleep! Is this all normal and is it ok to allow her to play this way with the Golden? We're concerned that it might lead her to behave aggressively to other dogs.
We want to make sure we raise her to be a loving, gentle dog and have never had a pit bull before.
Thanks,
Pam
