I named this group what it is called because I was hearing that PETA was angering alot of pit bull lovers about it's take on pitbulls. I also became a concerned citizen about pit bulls because of a dog named Gypsy, a pit bull. I thought naming the group what it is called would anger or even disgust PETA and that made me laugh but the title of it is no laughing matter about getting the word out that pitties have the right to be treated ethically!
I have had people complain about the name of the site and even the picture of Gypsy. I have been told to change the name because it reminds people of PETA and to take Gypy's picture down because it is so upsetting people can't go beyond it.
Neither of those is going to happen. I know why I named the group what I did and Gypsy has earned a spot as the cover girl on this site for the reality and horror of dogfighting.
I care about the use and misuse of pit bulls and like all of you, any way I can help, I will.
I have never owned a pit bull or even known one. But I was touched beyond belief when I discovered Gypsy's story.
I learned about dogfighting because of her and will use the site to help anyone who wants anything posted that will help stop the use and misuse of pitbulls, plus any stories or other things that have happy endings as well.
