STRIKE 3 (OZ)byWee-og, pee-og, tee-og, Why hello again again bambinos! Yeah, for better, for worse, I'm back. But Jonathan, not to even make the effort to read the whole message? That's just damn lazy! What, you get tired sittin' there in front of your computer? Now, I went to the trouble of writin' it, you could at least read it! Tara, wonderful message! You know I love to hear from any of the ol' NYTers, especially those I don't see and when they have content, well that just makes it all worthwhile! Now I hate to say this but, Helena? Pleassssse! This is about your response to Tara's bit of goss dropping. If you have gossip, bring it, God knows we love and need it 'round this lil' corner of the Super High-way but it's just childish and annoying if when soemone else leaves some, you leave a message talking 'bout how you knew about it all along. I mean, talk about, well amn't I great? Sorry, it's true. And while we're giving out, Coco-lazza? Yes, you! Now while I welcome discussion of all things film-ular 'round this way and am delighted to get anyone else's opinion, I think if you're going to print my verbal review of a film you should at least credit me, no? (Not that a plagairist like me can complain I suppose.) As this is sort-of Monday night that leaves seven shopping days 'till Stress-mas day! OMG! Are all the presents in? Are the decorations up? Are the Christmas cards sent? Who can tell? It's just a panic! Course, we all know the real count-down is just one day, (ONE DAY!!) to LOTR. Now that's exciting!! And speaking of the movies. Saw Riding In Cars With Boys- there's two and a half hours of my young life I'll never get back!!! The moral of the story is don't have kids at fifteen but is taken back in one gushy moment so there is, in fact, no moral. Drew, why?? (!) Mz. Barrymore plays a woman of fifteen and later, of thirty five. The difference between the two? Well, more make-up at thirty five! Like duh! On the plus side, Rosie Perez IS in the film! Who knew? And who knew she was still alive? Fabulous Rosie darling, don't bother acting, just keep doin' your thang. Also saw Bandits, not the Mae West I can tell ya. Cate Blanchett is, of course, radiant and wonderful. Billy Bob steals the show. Bruce is in the movie. It has no idea what it wants to be so your idea should be, I'll see LOTR instead. (Yes, even a second time!) (Though I haven't seen it yet, I'll let you know soon.) So the DYT party on Sat. Yeah, well excellent idea to move it to seven, as many as can should be like that from now on, now people can come without fear of ruining their night out and the sittin' round the table idea was lovely. Most embarrassing moments game a bit up and down. Mince pies; yum! Oranges; yum! Cake stuff; yum! Too many cream things and I didn't get to see Santa (Aw!) but the presents were just a wonderful thing. Even if Brian Whitney did rob a second. The singing was indeed sensational, if only more would. Or if only more would willingly. Let's all try and keep in mind that there will be singing at the next one and we'll all be called on. And Jonathan? No kudos for me? Oh well, next time maybe. Heard Destiny's Child's new song today; the eight days of Christamas. "On the second day of Christmas my baby gave to me the keys to a CLK mercedes..?" Yeah, well... Let's just say I'm sure the next album will be so much better. Also saw (and I'm sure I've mentioned this before) the new Britney; Overprotected. Oh so good. Britney rules all she surveys. Go Britney go!! Alright, it's late and I have to be up tomorrow. Santa's never off duty. (This kid came in today and just started right off "Iwant a ... I want a ... I want a..." No "How are ya Santa" or anything. I swear to God this season is over-rated and nothing like we're supossed to think it is.) ("...There goes the dream we used to sing..." Is that how it goes?) See you people soon, Ciaran, keep 'em coming, Naomi, no need to apologise, just return to the front, Helena, that was a lovely message you sent me today, AM(CB), See you v soon, Cass, was readin' the University record and what should I see but a theatre review by our very own Mz. Laver! Well done baby! Fab! You're a real live journo! But when I told Peter Mc he was well unimpressed that you didn't mention him as he was your date!! You just can't win eh? Fianl two hours of the Sopranos season tomorrow! Ooooohhhh! And Penel, I mean Kev, I don't think you can see the strings. It's not much use but I don't think you can. Alright, definitely going now, bye bye, SC P.S. Hot milk and cookies? Hmmmmm. That's not too shabby for Shane. P.P.S. "...totally addicted to bass..." Goto Forum Home |
