I went to Florida for a couple of days and my husband bought an EVP recorder, he did this 4 different times in our bedroom and every time he is getting responses. A man always says Hello, he will answer yes and no questions almost all the time, then we hear a woman crying in the backround. I am really scared, I have had trouble sleeping for the last few months and am wondering whether this has something to do with it. Now my husband wants me to sit in on a EVP session and I am to frightened. Is their anything to be afraid of?

Normally there is nothing to be frightened of - all though finding out you are not alone in your home can be a frigthening experience. I would suggest that if this is something that frightens you so much then maybe it would be a good idea not to sit in on the EVP's sessions your husband is doing. But it sounds to me that your guest is not hostile or trying to frighten you, he may just want to say hello. All though you want to make sure that your husband stays on a good path with what he is doing by educating himself on the proper techniques when speaking or contacting a spirit.

you have to question why you decided to engage in an evp session in the first place. i'm sure you knew that there was a possiblity that you would come up with something and that you would be sleeping in this room afterward. if your intention was to just reach out and gain a greater insight and the voices you captured don't seem to be hostile than you have nothing to fear. however, if your intention was to spook yourself, then you did a great job of that. i would suggest you do another evp session just to clear the air and let the spirit know that you aren't intending on causing any harm.
