Location: Tupelo, MS(Eastwood and Veteran’s Complexes)

When: July 25-27

Divisions: C, D, E, and Women’s

Entry fee: $250 plus $25 Sanctioning Fee if not already sanctioned

ISA Rules will apply

2 ISA umpires per field

Scorekeepers provided

BALLS WILL BE PROVIDED

Completed Roster must be turned in before first game is played

Prizes for each division are as follows:

1st Place: Paid Berth* to ISA World Series, Championship T-shirts, Trophy, 15 State Championship Patches
2nd Place: T-shirts, Trophy
3rd Place: Trophy

Prizes may increase depending on the number of teams entered.

*Must be a minimum of eight (8) teams in each division to receive berth. Women’s World will be held in Dothan, Alabama.

Randell did not post that. Actually $250 is very fair considering what prizes are being given PLUS balls are supplied. If Randell was supplying balls he would charge the same.

where is the men's ISA world?

Wow thats on the southern side of orlando,FL thats about a 13 to 14hr drive.

PLAY NSA THEN THE WORLD IS IN ALABAMA

Yes, there is an NSA D World Series in Boaz, Alabama, but that is like a regional tournament that is called a World. The real World Series, which is called the Super World Series is in Las Vegas.

The ISA World Series however is a exactly that. The only way to get there is to earn your way there by winning an NIT (1 of 8), Regional or Winning Your State. So trust me, whoever earns their way there will want to represent there state in a true World Series.

The only thing yall going take in the North ISA D state is an ass whipping.

For those teams that aren't already sanctioned, I will try and have a sanction form put on the MS ISA website within the next couple of days. You can then print that off and get it to me. Also, there must be a signature by each name that's put on the roster, or the players that are listed that do not have signatures will not be eligible to play. You can either send in your completed roster along with your entry fee or can turn it in before the first game. Thanks and looking forward to a good turnout.

I've been to ISA world a few times and didnt win any NIT to get there... you can go.. just pay yo money, just like anything else. Dont try to make ISA out to be the savior of MS softball... it aint.

I don't know what has been done in the past, but here is how you qualify for the ISA World Series. This came off the D World Series page of isasoftball.com. And no one claimed that ISA was the savior of MS softball.

It is my understanding that any team can play in an ISA National as long as they play in their state tournament, but you have to earn your way to the World Series. I'm sure exceptions are made, but this is how it's presented.

Are you still planning to make this a 3 day tournament?

I'm about 99% sure that this will be a Saturday-Sunday tournament. No games are planned for Friday night. Also, teams traveling from farther away will be given later games.

who all ya got so far?

So far I have talked to about 14 D teams that are planning on coming, although I have only received 2 checks. I have talked to and am expecting around 15 or more in the E, but haven't received any entries at this point. Also, if teams are sanctiond and I did not sanction you, please send me your sanction # along with your entry fee. If you have not been sanctioned, please go to www.isamississippi.com and fill out the sanction form to send in with your entry fee and sanction fee. You can also go ahead and fill out your rosters to send to me if you want, or you can give them to me the day of the tournament. Make sure that each player on the roster also signs the roster, or that player will not be eligible to play. You can find a roster form at the same site as the sanction form. Each player also needs to have their id with them at the tournament as well. Please try to have you entry fees to me by Tuesday, July 22, because I have to get Collins at Custom Printing a full list of teams to put on the tournament tshirts that he will be selling. How many in C?

I have talked to 1 team that plans on playing C.

whats the hr in each class

E=1st hr inning ending/then inning ending and offensive ejection for every other homerun
D=1 hr/inning ending
C=3 hr/inning ending

doesn't look like the c is going to make if all you have is 1 team, very sad

C never makes in MS...hasn't in 3-4 years.

You have to earn your way there. No exceptions. To the fellow that paid is money and went. That must have been two year ago or longer. It has changed and the ONLY way to get there is by earning the berth.
