I was surfing you tube the other night, and came across a clip from the original TCM, which really caught my attention. I have seen TCM about 32 times or more, different versions, mostly all the same, other than the fact quality wise has improved through the years with remastering, i.e. 'the ultimate edition' and what is called the shocking truth documentary etc. Being from the uk, i have not seen the new three disc edition, everything but.
Basically the clip in question is the hitchiker showing his polaroids of the slaughterhouse to Franklin. Franklin takes them from him, and looks through them. Whats the difference in this clip from the scene before? ***The viewer see's*** the polaroids, as Franklin looks through them. I don't have access to the saw at the minute, but could swear this shot has been added in later, as an after thought, by Tobe Hooper? Am I right? Does the newest feature of TCM feature any other previously unused clips? However small. I know about the polaroids being sold on the net, so they do exist.
