I had noticed a dog hanging around the bridge down brush creek for a couple of weeks now. Wasn't sure if it belonged to someone or not. It is a blue heeler mix of some sort. Anyway, my parents live close by and my dad noticed the dog warden coming down the hill from a cemetery. My dad asked him what he was doing and he told my dad that there was a dog tied to a tree at the cemetery. A man had found the dog the day before when he was mowing the cemetery. The warden had picked up the dog. It was the same dog that had been around the bridge. We don't know if someone tied it up being mean or what. It is a very sweet dog. It acts lost, like it is trying to find it's owner.
I'm sure the pound will put this dog to sleep. I already have 4 dogs or I would save it myself. If you may know who the dog belongs to or just have a big heart and want to save the dog, please do so!
