Can't you dislike the message without disliking the messenger?

I don't know why so many discussions have to end up with personal attacks and smears. If you don't like what anyone including James has to say why not engage and debate them on what they've stated instead of hit and run name calling? If you can't come up with some counterpoints why not just nothing at all and leave it at that?
