You are proud to be an American for the first time in your life because of a famous bluegrass musician? That's unbelievable and if it's true then I feel sorry for you and the miserable existence you must have suffered through until now.
I'm proud to be an American because of our founding fathers, a constitution and bill of rights that, to me, are almost as inspired as the Bible. I'm proud to be an American because of our liberties and freedoms. I'm proud to be an American because of the thousands of men and women who have served and at times given their lives to protect me, you and this great nation. I'm proud to be an American because I live in and respect the fact that the United States of American is the home of the brave and the land of the free. I'm also proud of Ralph Stanley but I'm able to keep in mind that he's a very talented entertainer, not a statesman. |
