This 2-minute video should be viewed by every US citizen. If you have never passed anything on before, pass this on! Every American should be outraged!
It would be nice if we had a media that reported the facts, rather than spinning words and phrases in order to cover up the nature of the crimes that have been committedand are still being committedagainst our nation.
The public is seeing through media misinformation about immigration reform and opposing the Senate illegal alien amnesty bill. Georgia Republican Senator Saxby Chambliss (R-GA), previously reported to be opposed to the new illegal alien amnesty bill, actually supports it. Roy Beck of Numbers USA sees this as a betrayal. After months of promising the voters of Georgia that they would never participate in full legalization of the 12-20 million illegal aliens, these two Senators (Chambliss and Isakson) are embracing a bill that will allow more than 98% of them to remain in your communities and job markets forever, he said in a message to Georgia residents. The phone number to Senator Chambliss Washington, D.C. office is 202-224-3521, and the phone number to Senator Isaksons Washington D.C. office is 202-224-3643. Both men voted against last years Senate amnesty bill along with 30 other Republican senators, but support this one. The voters of Georgia deserve an explanation of why they have turned their backs on the voters. We had also reported that Beck had said that many senators were surprised at how few phone calls of protest theyve gotten during the last two months of highly-publicized negotiations to create the amnesty. But that has now changed. Beck reports, In the Senate offices of some of the largest states, you all have shut down the phone lines so that staffers arent able to communicate with anybody because of their decision to turn off their phones to avoid hearing from you. To see if this was true, on May 18, 2007, I called Senator Jim Webb (D-VA) and Senator John Warner (R-VA). Jim Webbs Washington, D.C. office phone went straight to voicemail and told the caller they could either leave a message for the senator or press two to speak to a staff member. After doing that, I spoke to a Webb staff member who told me that although Webb is against amnesty, she was unsure how the senator would vote on the amnesty bill. Last year, Sen. Webb narrowly defeated incumbent Senator George Allen, who was one of the strongest opponents of amnesty in the Senate, on a campaign pledge that he would not support amnesty. It remains to be seen if Webb, like Georgia Senators Chambliss and Isakson, will also break his promise to voters. When I attempted to call Sen. John Warner (R-VA), his Washington, D.C. office phone, 202-224-2023, was busy every time. I then tried to call Senator Warners District offices. Between the Midlothian, Roanoke, and Abingdon offices I got two busy signals and one voicemail. Only at the Norfolk office did a staff member actually answer the phone. The staff member there told me that he was unsure how Senator Warner would vote on the new amnesty bill and that he believed the senator would spend the weekend reading the bill. But, Warner was one of the Republican senators who voted for last years Kennedy/McCain amnesty bill. Barring a change of heart, or strong constituent pressure, Warner most likely will once again vote to give amnesty to millions of illegal immigrants. The senators who support this amnesty bill have called it everything but, including comprehensive immigration reform, or an immigration compromise bill. If they spent less time trying to craft code words for amnesty, and more time listening to the people who put them in office, we might have a real bill on illegal immigration that enforced the law without rewarding those who broke the law to enter and work in this country illegally. Instead we get broken campaign promises and senators hiding from constituents. It would be nice if we had a media that reported the facts, rather than spinning words and phrases in order to cover up the nature of the crimes that have been committedand are still being committedagainst our nation. It doesnt appear that public outrage will lessen as the Senate continues debating the bill and even considers taking up another controversial piece of legislation, the U.N. Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS). The treaty, which, like the immigration bill, has the support of President Bush and Senator Ted Kennedy, is something that the far-left and pro-world government forces have been promoting for decades. It is a treaty that President Regan rejected. Bush, however, is not a Ronald Reagan.

Feuding Aerosmith Looking For New Singer (rift with Steven Tyler)
Retuers via Billboard ^ | November 10, 2009 6:46 EST | Dean Goodman
Who wants to become the new singer for Aerosmith?
Guitarist Joe Perry said that he and his bandmates are "positively looking for a new singer to work with," following a rift with frontman Steven Tyler.
Perry made the announcement on his Twitter page...
...(Tyler) also stopped communicating with the rest of the band several months ago, and hired his own manager.

For all the people that have cancer, for all the older people, for the ones that are sick, young and old. For people that have mental problems, For the ones that are less fortunate and may not have food, shelter, clothing or medicine they need. God thank you for my blessings, and may I be more helpful to the ones in need.

Clinton bombing asprin factory on the day he was impeached for lying under oath. Which he did but the left wing lame stream media never wouod admit or focus on.
What Congrss pass this week end will be the largest screw ou in our history. Wait and see.
Congress is a total dissapointment. However if you blame Bush for starting a war you have to blame Clinton for letting Iraq fester for 8 years and then you have to blame Bush one for not invading at the end of the first gulf war (Democrats have been both for and against that according to public sentiment and which Bush they were criticizing)
The problem we have now is that we have an inexperienced leader who is beholden to the far left and what he terms himself as "Low information" voters and he is giving them all what they want.
Free stuff and anti business and antemployment economic policy. And an forgein policy based on niavety and ignorance.
Be careful what you wish for.....you may get it.....and you have.

This mess in the U.S. now belongs to the Annointed One...you know the one....the one the democrats think was born in a manger but noone else seems to no where in the world he was born. And I would hardly call passing socialist health care a means of fixing a Bush screw up. If you like being a socialist then thats fine but you are badly misinformed if you think Obama is the answer to the problems we face. He is immature,he has a ego so big that his ears actually look like they fit his swelled head and he will systematically destroy the private economy which he is off to a fast start doing. Yeah I know.... Bush was a frat boy, Bush did this, Bush did that. The democrats sound like some spoiled younger child that always blames the older sibling for the trouble they caused when their mommy pulls out the belt to spank them...."wah wah it's his fault mommy..he made me do it..wah..wah".

OK, now that we have the name-calling and ad hominum attacks out of the way, let's pretend the GOP won the last election.
What SPECIFICALLY would the GOP party being doing to remedy our economic problems?
Rather than a refundable credit based on payroll taxes, House Republicans propose reducing the lowest individual tax rates from 15% to 10% and from 10% to 5%. As a result every taxpaying-family in America will see an immediate increase in their income with an average benefit of $500 in tax relief from the drop in the 10% bracket and $1,200 for the drop in the 15% bracket. A married couple filing jointly could save up to $3,200 a year in taxes.
Help for America’s Small Businesses:
Small businesses (those employing less than 500 individuals) employ about half of all Americans, yet they can be subject to tax rates that siphon away one-third or more of their income. House Republicans propose to allow small business to take a tax deduction equal to 20% of their income. This will immediately free up funds for small businesses to retain and hire new employees.
No Tax Increases to Pay for Spending:
The stimulus proposal pending in Congress includes record levels of government spending that will substantially increase the current deficit. House Republicans are concerned that this level of spending will result in some proposing near-term tax increases on American families. House Republicans are insisting that any stimulus package include a provision precluding any tax increases now or in the future to pay for this new spending. House Republicans believe that any stimulus spending should be paid for by reducing other government spending, not raising taxes.
Assistance for the Unemployed:
Incredibly, the Federal Government actually imposes income taxes on an individual receiving unemployment benefits. House Republicans propose to make unemployment benefits tax free so that those individuals between jobs can focus on providing for their families. The plan would also extend unemployment benefits from March to December, 2009.
Stabilizing Home Values:
The real-estate market is paralyzed as potential buyers wait on the sidelines waiting for prices to fall even further. This is becoming a self-fulfilling prophecy. In order to encourage responsible buyers to enter the market and stabilize prices, House Republicans propose a home-buyers credit of $7,500 for those buyers who can make a minimum down-payment of 5%.
One of the problems, as I see it, is that all these personal and party ad hominem attacks are devisive and do nothing to encourage changing things for the better. In fact, they hinder it, as someone with a liberal philosophy towards government is likely to become even more entrenched in their viewpoints by being called a "looney liberal" just as a conservative may by being called a "right-wing nut."
Life is compromise. There is good and bad on both sides of the political fences.
It reminded me of the "Relax" image posted at the top of this forum a few weeks ago.
I feel sorry for people who would be "shocked, appalled, and offended" by such things. It must be horrible to live in a world where things that can be construed as humorous only evoke emotions of anger and judgment.
As for Audrey, she was a nurse, so I'm sure she's not shocked by body parts. And it's kind of fun to yank her chain once in a while.
We are waiting for you again Wave. Are you ready for another beatdown? You still won't score. We don't care about the LPD title. Only one thing is on our mind, and that is Region D and State. You couldn't get it done the past two years, so move over little boys, it's our turn again.
We'll see you at UVA-Wise. We'll save you all that expense of going upstate, cause your season will end at Wise.
I believe that two other teams are in the playoffs too, and Clintwood and Norton will see them first. Don't overlook them or you might not be at Wise. Just a thought. What do you think?
I remember when your team went to state and didn't win either a few years ago. My son played on both state championships and I can honestly say that getting to that point was an accomplishment all in itself. Beating you rather was something I'll always cherish because not only in regular season but in playoffs too! Were you that loud mouth in the stands yelling "we're going to beat your a**" only to have eaten your words later? Oh yea, I forgot, it only rained on one side of the field when we beat you last year- wasn't that your excuse? What's done is done so leave it be. What lies to be done is still awaiting.... Go get 'em Big Green!
The Big green has not improved as a team all season. The Tigers have, plus they have the greatest coach in the region ( Colley ! ) clintwood will not advance this year my friends. This Tiger team is a different team than what clintwoods qb beat in the first game of the year. You will see what improving from game to game means; Norton dont get your hopes up a real football team with heart and desire to get better} ya will see soon. you might beat a tiger team, but you will not stomp us like you did the big green.
But, didn't the Wave "stomp" Haysi? Or, did I dream that? LOL
It's funny how people can be so confident while sitting behind a computer screen. I also love how people from other places come on here simply to cause trouble and slam our home team. I read the posts and never say anything about them---most of the time, I laugh and go on. But this post takes the cake for me, HA! I realize that Clintwood and Haysi have always been at eachother's throats, and that's all good with me... but don't come on here slamming someone/something without having something to back it up with.
It is probable that we can pull for BOTH county teams in the 1st round since IMHO Lee will beat TW this friday pushing them to the #4 seed and a game with CWood, and put Haysi against Burton
TW will beat lee high ! Tigers coming to clintwood. this game will show who has improved this year. practice hard play hard ! we practice more thsn 2 days a week full contact. clintwoods walk arounds starting to show up!
Clintwood practices three days a week full pads, that and the fact that Clintwood has already slayed your kitty cats once by thirty points! Next time make sure your players can keep from getting tired half way through the second quarter.
Has anyone lost a collie type dog and/or a multi-colored pup (possibly Australian shepherd)? These two have been on Bear Pen Creek Road for 2 days. If they are yours please post.
3 bedroom & 2 bath house for rent on Market Street in Clintwood. $500 a month + $500 security deposit. Refrences required. Not HUD approved. For more information, call 926-4350.
The sad thing is that this article will change very little here or anywhere else. The animal shelters are full of unwanted animals for the same reason there is an overwhelming need for more Foster homes for abused/unwanted/ neglected children.
You just have to face facts, there are people in this world who don't have enough sense to have children or pets. Unfortunately these are the ones who keep on having children( too stupid or lazy to use birth control, why bother? The state will foot the bill and Someone else will take care of them.) and keep on getting pets (and not making sure their pets are sterilized and taken care of). The ones who think that children are just "things" and a pet is just an animal.
These people are also the ones who will never understand that a child and a pet provide the most purest, unconditional love we humans will ever receive.
A child or a dog doesn't care if you are rich or poor, fat or skinny, ugly or beautiful, they just love you. PERIOD.
It all boils down to ignorance and stupidity. Unfortunately, there is no cure for either.

Do get too giddy just yet, it still has to be voted on in the senate.
How is that for a new bumper sticker slogan? Socialism........dont ya just luv it? The government will now control 47% of the private economy. You the working folks will be taxed right out of your job. The Democrats have now made it official...they are Socialist.......pure and simple.
Come on folks is that the best you got, I hear these same comments on fox all the time , How about something original. You know, think for yourself, use your brain a little. What happened to charity, and helping others , like Jesus. Fear not God is in control. How can you say you are the Jesus party, and not want to help the poor. If abortion was outlawed who is going to feed all those children? I am really puzzled. I guess when it comes to religion the "gop" draws the line when it comes to money. I don't think Jesus is politically affiliated.I don't think it's right when preachers and such talk politics, I also don't think that is part of the "Good News", preachers should stick to Jesus when speaking from the pulpit, rather than who to vote for. How can we be a christian nation without providing for the poor, widows and orphans. People need to read the Bible instead of letting someone read it for them. Pray for our nation and President. God bless you all.
Jesus is coming soon, get ready , get ready, get ready.
Obama's health care program will bankrupt this nation. I own a small business and I employ 20 people. I cannot afford to provide health care coverage for my employees. If the government makes me provide health care for my employees then I will be laying off 6 employees in order to make payroll. This health care program will cripple small business owners. The unemployment rate is already at 10%. If government health care becomes law then the unemployment rate will be 40-50%. How is this a good thing??????
If you look at what Pelosi's bill would do, it has very little to do with health care.
It won't improve the quality of it, just the opposite.
It won't expand coverage. It will actually put more people on the unemployment rolls - out of their company plans.
It won't reduce costs. Your own CBO shows it will literally cost trillions of dollars, dwarfing even porkus.
It sure does have a lot of language in there on control though. A lot of the bill is devoted to controls and consequences. That tells you where the real effort went, where the real intent is.
I have heard all morning on the news that Boucher voted against it. Can't say I am not surprised by this, but I think recent results have him scared. Probably the most he will worry about an election since the one that put him in office. Maybe this will at least put some since into him if no one runs against him that he is a representative of this district and not the democratic party.
He may have voted for it, but i have some waterfront property to sell you if you believe he would have voted against it if his vote was needed to pass it.
You are probably right I have said forever that he is a party man, but noticed with the news today it is a "big" deal that he voted against it. It has been repeated over and over. Guess his office wants to be sure we know that. I did not know until recently though that Congress will be exempt from the plan. Nuff said about its true quality. I don't want anything they would not take.
What Boucher would have done had last Tuesday not happened
by Pundit
Remember last Tuesday? Not only did Virginia as a state overwhelmingly tell a liberal democrat to hit the road so did the 9th district INCLUDING DICKENSON COUNTY, which seldom happens in state races. Boucher can add and subtract. He got the message and voted against the health care bill to try to calm down all of us on his plantation. If he still insists on supporting the cap and trade bill that will kill the coalfields economically then he voted no on the health care bill for no good reason politically. We're still very angry with him on his support of cap and trade and if he thinks his vote on that issue is going to be overshadowed by supporting the health care bill then he has seriously misjudged the voters. Even if his cap and trade vote had never happened what makes him think that after 24 years of not voting on major issues as his constituents would like will now make us all happy and forgive and forget his past record. It ain't going to happen and things are quickly falling in to place for Frederick Boucher to be sitting in office for his last term.
Eli was 29-30 he graduated with me in the class of '98 from Haysi High School. He had Cancer and fought a good fight... He will be missed by so many of us. He was such a great person. May God be with Bob, Colleen, Luke, and Sidney. And may Eli rest in the arms of God now.

But some say it could not happen to a nicer group.
Good Luck in Playoffs Clintwood, everyone knows you guys and Burton will meet again, this time get some pay back and leave them Raiders in your dust.
