I'm pretty clueless about what all is going to be on the ballot tomorrow. In this House of Delegates district there is a conservative man, Gary Dotson, who is actively campaigning for write-in votes for the seat Bud Phillips now holds.
I would like to invite the ladies to a Bible study on "Living Beyond Yourself, Exploring the Fruit of the Spirit" by Beth Moore. It may sound boring, but IT'S NOT! We meet from 6-8pm each Sunday evening at Clintwood United Methodist Church. We had our first meeting last night and it was AWESOME! (And I want to add that ALL DENOMINATIONS ARE WELCOME!)
Each week we meet, we will view a short video by the author and then have a discussion from the book. I feel that it is our heart's cry as a woman to grow in the knowledge of God and gain insight as to what He would have us do and be.

We just completed a study on the book, "Power of a Praying Parent" by Stormie Omartian. We were all empowered by God's word on how, as parents, we need to pray for our children through all the different areas and stages of life they go through. This book would make an excellent gift for new parents.

The Republican candidate for Governer was already projected to win by 10 to 12 points but if the Democrats actually gave the idiotic message you claim then he will probably win by 20 points. Are you really a democrat or are you a republican trying to make the democrats look as bad and idiotic as possible?

I don't know whether to laugh or cry. If I cry it won't be because he wins. Every single reputable poll, and I've seen about ten of them, have CREIGH Deeds behind anywhere from 7 to 15%. I think it's more than safe to say Deeds will not be Virginia's next governor.
You think the union really supports you. Look what the new administration has done to unions. UMWA endorsed them and they have busted the autoworkers already now they are working on busting the miners. Don't make me laugh by saying anyone is pro-union. They may be pro-beuracracy but I don't know if any politician is really pro-working man!
Rock the City hosts guest speaker from Gate City High School

Pat Davis, history teacher from Gate City HS and pastor of Stanleytown Community Church will be the guest speaker at this month's Rock the City Youth Bash at the Jettie Baker Center this Sunday, November 8th from 4-6pm.
Come hear his testimony and account of how the prayer situation at their football games was turned around when the students came together and took action against a complaint from one single person who made an attempt to stop the longstanding practice of prayer before the game.
There will also be dramas by local youth groups, cool prizes including cash. Music by "The Remnant"
Sponsored by area churches and The Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

I'm very curious about one thing, does Dickenson County get a tax revenue from all the gas wells that are in the
county. As many companies and gas wells that are in the county, the county should be sitting pretty well. If the county does get money from these wells, where's it all going, it doesn't appear as the schools getting any.
Ask the Investigators federal and state whats going on in the courthhouse. Another expert source would be Ronnie Robbins and Shelbie Willis. May not be able to catch RR during the day. Maybe after dark??. Bruce Willis could also give you his opinion. Not the movie actor but Shelbies husband.
I talked with her Great Aunt at Church this morning, and she had talked to Hope's brother and he said she was improving alot, said she would follow commands whenever they told her to move a hand, foot, etc. She still has a long way to go and still needs our prayer.
