Before I finally got the internet in 2000, I would never have believed there were any BF anywhere except the PNW and Oklahoma, and Oklahoma only on account of a flap up there back in the seventies when I lived there. Now I know they're alive and kicking in Ohio, PA, certainly TN, and yeah, Texas! I had no idea there was even ever one sighting here, much less the fact that they practically own East Texas. But even less believable to me is the fact that most Texans never seem to have even heard of them, even an elderly gentleman I recently met who grew up near the LA border in a hot spot! But now I know better and have my eyes and ears peeled. Neat article, John.
