I noticed a few things here.

by (Login asmussen)

They have a skull ( the evidence that scientists always complain about that they need for proof)which when the creature was alive it's face was flatter than other apes. (Kinda reminds me of a skull I drew on my site of a Bigfoot maybe)One of those creatures walked or ran across the road in from of a car on two legs and was a little over 6 ft tall. Wonder if this scenario sounds familiar? It's feet are two inches longer than a Gorillas. (no mention on how the foot looks which makes me curious about that fact. To mention the foot is longer but no mention on how the foot appears. Maybe they figure just saying two inches longer and shape of the foot is a given?) It is much taller than the Chimpanzees are and other large apes live hundreds of miles away. Could this be Africas Bigfoot since it hoots or howls at the moon at night as it were and the Chimps stay quiet for fear of being prey. I find it interesting how a new species pops up when we are told ALL animals have been found by scientists. There is no way a large Primate could be out there without us knowing it. Seems this new animal is pretty big. Someone needs to get glasses or change their perscription. Guess not everyone can be perfect like us Bigfoot researchers and artists. LOL

by tafffy341 (no login)

Here is a very extensive web site with pictures of the ape... it apparently is no new news!!
http://karlammann.com/bondo.html
When you click on the pictures there is much more information. Also they have a museum on this large ape, etc. The ape has monkey/ape/chimpanzee type feet and hands.... no corrolation to Bigfoot or biped.
Of course this may be a different ape but from what I could locate on the web, it is the same.... One was shot in 1996 and they have a picture of it beside a hunter that weighs 175 pounds. The say the males weigh around 250 -270 pounds... whatever... check it out ... what is your opinion?????

wrong. just because its feet are different, doesn't mean it has no correlation. humans have a 95% correlation with chimps, you wouldn't know that from the outside. there are many things similar about both.

Interesting article on 'GIANTS' in Penn.

by taffy341 (no login)

"Pennsylvania

A large Indian mound near the town of Gastersville, [Gastonville?—Ed.] Pa., has recently been opened and examined by a committee of scientists sent out from the Smithsonian Institute. At some depth from the surface a kind of vault was found in which was discovered the skeleton of a giant measuring seven feet two inches. His hair was coarse and jet black, and hung to the waist, the brow being ornamented with a copper crown. The skeleton was remarkably well preserved...On the stones which covered the vault were carved inscriptions, and these when deciphered, will doubtless lift the veil that now shrouds the history of the race of people that at one time inhabited this part of the American continent. The relics have been carefully packed and forwarded to the Smithsonian Institute, and they are said to be the most interesting collection ever found in the United States.
American Antiquarian, 7:52, 1885
Human skulls with horns were discovered in a burial mound at Sayre, Bradford County, Pennsylvania, in the 1880's. Horny projections extended two inches above the eye-brows, and the skeletons were seven feet tall, but other than that were anatomically normal. It was estimated they were buried around AD 1200. Some of the bones were sent to the American Investigating Museum in Philadelphia, where they seem to have disappeared..."
The web site has some interesting 'GIANT' history for each state. Some of the 'GIANTS' have double rows of teeth and these particular 'GIANTS' have been found in several states in the United States.

Outdoor Life network

by (no login)

I just recieved this information.

Mysterious Encounters scheduled to premier in August 2003, will bring viewers the outdoor adventures of ordinary people and explorers who come into contact with unexplained species. Leading experts in the fields of forensics, anatomy, behavioral science, biology and primatology will examine the evidence using high tech equipment such as night vision and sensors to determine whether each creature actually exists. In addition to the Loch Ness Monster and various permutations of Bigfoot, such as Sasquatch, Yeti and Almas, Mysterious Encounters will investigate Globsters, giant sea creatures that wash up on beaches; the Jersey Devil, who has been haunting the state’s Pineland forest for centuries; the Honey Island Swamp Monster of Louisiana; and many, many others. Mysterious Encounters is produced by Cableready for OLN.

Bigfoot and Rainfall

by The Living Legend (no login)

If you were to go to the Willow Creek Bigfoot Museum site, you will find a Rainfall Chart for California. We discovered that the 80-120 inch. area's are also the best bigfoot area's, this has nothing to do with elevation, Mt. Whitney is in the 30-40 bracket, it has to do with Yearly Rainfall, and the habitat that amount offers. Possibly there is such a rainfall chart for Penna., and it would make your job alot easier

by taffy341 (no login)

Kathy make sure that your partner in your area is referred to you by the forum owner or someone that he recommends to suggest a partner. Remember you will be going out into the forests and as a female you need someone that well-known reputable researchers recommend as your partner... The men here are very protective with their women researchers.... great reputations! They will only suggest good and safe partners that either they or other forum owners know are safe for you to research with when going into the forests/wilds...
Blessings... taffy341
