I hear ya on the excuses (m)

I am alwyas trying to come up with a reason why he acts the way he does. Is he stressed? Is he upset? ya da ya da. When he cries he seems like his entire world has been shattered. it's awful. I guess I am too sensitive. Dh just says "he's totally playing you, can't you see it?" I guess not. i don't think mom's are wired that way. I absolutely hate it when dh is gone and its bed time. It means fights and fights. Dh and I actually discussed last night what would happen if dh died and I had the kids to myself. I can't even go there.
