Our 8 yr. old girl doesn't seem to respond to any consequences - just "I don't care". Unless the consequences are direct and soon, she doesn't care. I feel like I have the use the nuclear option (no playdate tomorrow" all the time.
We try to be flexible and acknowledge her feelings and issues. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
