I think this site is fantastic for mom's like me that can see other parents a suffering too. I love my child to death and would do anything for her, but when she does things spitefully or deliberately it is so hard. The intelligent of knowing her wrong doing, but chooses to do what she does in her own benefit. She prefers that I take her and pick her up from kindergarten, she is tired of being dropped off with a sitter. I explained the reality of a single mother with just her and I in the house and we both share a responsibility of getting up everyday and going to school and mommy goes to work so that we can have good things in life like amusement parks, zoo's and decent clothes to wear. She is not accepting that, she just wants mommy to take and pick her up. I can't win!! She is diagnosed with ODD (oppositional defiance disorder) and her very low dose gets up through school, but does not give her the reality of life. Day in and Day out is such a struggle - with the meds however we have better days than before. she raised hell only when she see's that it is to her benefit. 5 yrs old and we just go day to day and pray!
