Hi forum administrators!
I run forum 446944. It is chatboard about anything to do with the mafia, or about other mafia chatboards (there is great competition amongst mafia chatboards). A forum very similar to mine, #407559, got taken down and it says:
"This Network54 forum has been disabled due to a breach of the Network54 User Agreement by the owner of this forum. Network54 does not allow forums that contain or contain links to nudity, sex, pornography, illegal activities, unauthorized use or distribution of copyrighted material(s) (including 'warez' boards), mail fraud and pyramid schemes, hatred and racism of any kind, guns or firearms, or any other material that may be deemed libelous or offensive to another individual or organization."
As I say, this forum was VERY similar to mine - in fact, I knew the owner (although I haven't been able to reach him) and used to have admin privileges there. For a while, he had problems from people who didn't like the site - they would post all sorts of hard-core pornographic pictures on the forum and then complain to Network54. Network54 would then send a warning to the owner of the board (that's how I was given admin privileges - to help police the board and take down the porn quickly (because the owner frequently would disappear for weeks at a time). So, I am wondering what caused the forum to get taken down - so that I can avoid the same thing happening to my forum, because they are basically the same, or at least, very similar.
