User name / password corrupted

I had a Network54 username and password and was unable to logon to the forum I normally visit (FordFE) I clicked the "lost password" link and it sent me the exact same information as what I was trying to logon with. Tried to the point I got locked out.

I then applied and received a new, similar user name, so I am able to post this message.

Is there a way to recover my old user name "PaulProe" so I don't have to use "PaulProe1" Is there an site admin that monitors this and can help with my dilemma

If you search the FordFE forum, you'll see my old user name on posts and I haven't changed my password - what the server emailed me is what I am/was trying to use. There apparently is some form of corruption somewhere in my profile, that is keeping me from getting on
