Our Index http://www.network54.com/Index/94345 is ok with Turkish Characters but not the Forums.

Once you go in to any of the 18 Forums at above index given (19 including chat) we need to set our browsers IE or Mozilla Firefox to Turkish (Windows-1254) from View/Character Encoding for every Thread or Page to read in Turkish properly.

Is it not posibble for you to set them up for Turkish aswell?

I'll setup your forums to use Turkish encoding. We did change how we've done encoding several months ago, so that shouldn't be a problem.

I did move one of your forums over to Turkish encoding. It will affect your forum description - seehttp://www.network54.com/forum/112172 - and I just want to make you aware of that before I start moving the other ones over.

Turkish Character (fonts) RESOLVED but now....

Arabic fonts are a problem?

On OLD threads or messages BOTH Turkish & Arabic Characters (fonts) are all ok and they show together with no problem and nothing is wrong with them.

Here is a link to an OLD example message thread to show you exactly what I mean at:http://www.network54.com/Forum/163534/thread/1034498251/last-1034498649/ESRARNAME

But when I try to send a NEW message even though there is no problem with the Turkish Character fonts. The Arabic Character fonts are a problem and they don't show at all or things come up such as this:

: : :
. "" ( ).
"" " " . "" . .
"". . . . .

Can we fix it so that BOTH fonts do show like on old threads & messages I gave as an example above?

PS: (At bottom of the thread & the last message is a copy of first message athttp://www.network54.com/Forum/163534/thread/1034498251/last-1034498649/ESRARNAME was re-sent today again just to show you that Arabic Character fonts are a problem and they don't show at all)

I would think that they have no difinitive answer for you. I can't say why no one replied, however.

Admin,

Sorry, I have made tech aware of the situation, but I have not been given a definitive answer on when or if they can help you.

Sorry,

It's hard because

not everyone speaks other languages and to convert to other languages, you kind of need to know what the words on the other end mean. Some words are very similar yet can mean totally different things. I have enough trouble with English sometimes. I can only imagine the insanity of trying to convert to a language I cannot speak nor do I even understand proper syntax. I took 4 years of Spanish in high school. I can't even remember a word of it today.

This may or may not have anything to do with your problem. I'm just thinking out loud......

No Ripper® it's ok mate. Just needs setting up I think for Character Encoding to BOTH languages. On OLD threads or messages BOTH Turkish & Arabic Characters (fonts) were all ok and they showed together with no problem and nothing was wrong with them. But now it's only Turkish font that is ok and Arabic fonts don't show up.
