if i try to share a video say from youtube with cut copy and paste the url dosen't appear on the forum as clickable...when i try to send a picture to the forum it also appears as a non-clickable url instead of a picture...can this be remedied...thankyou

You need to know if the forum allows clickable links. Some do, some don't. If it does, there may be something in one of your security settings that is stopping it. Links have always worked in Internet Explorer.
One last question. Are you putting the link on a line all by iself? If you are, then you need to check your browser security settings. There is something on your computer that is stopping this from working. If the forum allows links and you are using Internet Explorer, it should work for without an issue. The following is simply typed using Internet Explorer. www.ripper1.com It becomes a link as soon as you hit return. Typing it like this will cause it to not work, in most cases: my website iswww.ripper1.com Which version of IE are you using? There are different things added to each version that could be causing this. Also, you could have Norton or some other add-on software blocking it as well.

i uninstalled my security...no joy...when i put my link in the forum

and i hit preview...the link is hot...as soon as i hit submit it turns black...i uninstalled security and turned off the windows firewall...does the same thing with a photo...vista

I am not sure what the problem is. This is a Vista situation. Nothing works right in Vista. I'll see if I can find anything out. I refuse to install Vista on any of my machines.
